毋庸置疑,托福閱讀考試最后一個(gè)大題三個(gè)正確選項(xiàng)一般都針對(duì)于某段的核心意思概括,或是某段當(dāng)中的核心細(xì)節(jié)。相對(duì)而言,托福閱讀考試錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng)要愈加明顯一些,因此最后一道題我們一般采用用排除法作答更好一些。下面我們通過(guò)一個(gè)例題來(lái)了解下“6選3”中錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng)一般涵蓋特征:
我們用托福閱讀TPO23中的‘17世紀(jì)荷蘭農(nóng)業(yè)’的這一篇為例:

托福閱讀文章當(dāng)中確實(shí)有提到17世紀(jì)的荷蘭從波羅的海地區(qū)進(jìn)口糧食,但是沒(méi)有提到波羅的海地區(qū)也把糧食出口到荷蘭以外的其他地區(qū)。這屬于無(wú)中生有型。

此托福閱讀模擬文章中提及園藝業(yè)這一段講的就是園藝業(yè)怎樣從小眾變得大眾,普通老板姓也開(kāi)始種植水果和蔬菜。這一句明顯是扭曲事實(shí)型。

這個(gè)選項(xiàng)也不對(duì),因?yàn)樵谥v徒弟開(kāi)墾這一段當(dāng)中,講到了“However, land reclamation decreased significantly after the middle of the seventeenth century because the price of agricultural products began to fall, making land reclamation far less profitable in the second part of the century”,所以也和原文不符。
Specialization in dairy farming,industrial crops, and horticulture allowed the Dutch to be more productive than some other regions in Europe.
